Why do you love photographing makeup?
What is it that draws you, keeps you there, and always wanting more?
I love makeup because it gives me a way to help women reclaim some self-assurance and feel gorgeous again. Of course, in the past, I felt a bit more reliant on makeup than I do these days, but it has always been a great way for me to get a sense of amazement into my photography and while boosting my client’s self-esteem. I love working on the set with a makeup artist and a client talking ideas out, while they are playing with the different colors and textures, trying to see what we can come up with as a team. It’s just good fun that feels extremely easygoing and luxurious for my client and I want that each time we shoot for makeup.
